NEW CANADIAN RECORD FOR SCHULTZ
Day 4:
Paige Schultz completes the Jr. Pan Pacific Championships with a new Canadian Age Group Record and bronze medal in the 200 IM (2:15.57). Schultz opened the day 4 finals session with a phenomenal performance, breaking a record set in 1990 by Nancy Sweetnam.

Zsofi Balazs betters personal best time in the 1500 Free by 22 seconds and adds a bronze medal to Team Canada's total medal count. Balazs' time 16:36.70 was a LC Female Open club record. "I was really happy because I had some tough swims overall this week," said Balazs, 18. "It's a great feeling to come back with a medal. The difference today is that I just went out there and raced rather than worrying about personal bests. I didn't over analyze anything and relied on my training."

Day 5:
The 10k open water was the last day on the final day in Guam at the Pan Pacific Championships. Balasz places 5th overall in this event, and completes the course in a time of 2:04.53.51.

Congratulations of a great week of racing girls!
